#LifeStyleMusic: Video Selection.

It’s no news that Nigerian Music Video Production has stepped up a notch over the past years. What we have today, is way better than the “cringing, torturing” excuse for music videos we’ve had to watch in the past, while chanting “e go beta” endlessly at the back of our minds.

With artistes like P-Square, Darey Art Alade dropping very exciting music videos, I believe the standards for “good Nigerian Music Videos” has been raised, and room for semi-standard, uncreative and mediocre videos is gradually being elimited.

We get to see more of our videos on cable TV. We even sometimes have to wait up till late at night for the Music Video Premieres online. (we all the remember the Mr. Endowed Remix Countdown of late last year). Kudos to the likes of Clarence Peters, Kemi Adetiba, DJ Tee, Jude “Engees” Okoye, Sesan Ogunro, Nigerian Music Lovers can stay glued watching videos unend. And chronic fans would rather watch online so they can stop, pause and replay to pick out as many details as possible (from style tips to dance moves).

Here are a couple of our favourites over the past year (in no particular order).  Enjoy!
